White testis (Trifolium repens) 10g, ~15000 seeds
875 Ft
Would you like to be crouched down and scanning the land for four-leaf clovers? Maybe that's not the best advertising slogan, but it can certainly be one of the uses for white testicle 🙂 If not for that, then you might want to plant white testicle(Trifolium repens) for its nitrogen-fixing or nectar-producing properties. The nectar of white testis is mainly preferred by honey bees and short-tongued bees, while bumble bees and other long-tongued bees prefer red testis. In addition to bee species, various butterfly species are also frequent visitors. Sowing them in lawns is a very simple way to add a little biodiversity to an ecological desert called a lawn. The whole plant is edible and the dried flowers used to be ground into protein-rich flour.

In fact, you can sow them at any time from spring to autumn in prepared ground or between grass. You can soak seeds for 12 hours before sowing, but this step can be skipped. Cover the seeds with soil (this step can be skipped if you are sowing in a lawn). Sprinkle them with water. Keep the soil moist for the first 1-2 weeks. Perennials through spring sowing will not flower until next year (rarely late summer), and autumn sowing the following year. Enjoy the spectacle!
