St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) 1g, ~10500 seeds
875 Ft
St. John's wort(Hypericum perforatum) is a native Hungarian wildflower. Its use as an exorcism is no longer recommended, but it is used both externally and internally as a medicinal herb. Pollinators (especially bumblebees), however, are delighted by its orange pollen.

Sow the seeds in spring or autumn in prepared soil or pots. Only cover the seeds very thinly with soil. Water them. Keep the soil moist for the first 1-2 weeks. Perennials will not flower until the following year if sown in spring (sometimes as early as late summer if sown in early spring) and the following year if sown in autumn. Enjoy the spectacle!
